Comment from COSEDA Technologies, our new business partner, on its collaboration with OTSL
2019.07.18Company Profile: COSEDA Technologies is a leading provider of system-level software solutions for complex electronic hardware and software products. Providing the latest modeling and simulation technologies to our customers to cost-effectively manage new concepts for their innovative, complex and safety-critical products. Our technologies have a 20-year history and are used by leading semiconductor companies developing circuits for automotive, communications, power, security critical (e.g. smart cards) and safety-critical applications. The founders of the company are experts involved in the development and standardization (IEEE & Accellera) of the SystemC AMS modeling and simulation technology, which forms the basis for our main product COSIDE®. The main business of COSEDA Technologies is the distribution of licenses for our design platform COSIDE® as well as for add-on tools. We offer annual and multi-year licenses limited to the number of users, as well as enterprise licenses. On top of this we also provide support, services and trainings. Product Brief: The Design Environment COSIDE® is the first tool that enables the design of electronic software and hardware components in the context of the overall system. It is easy to adapt and enables cross-domain optimization of the system concept and architecture and thus the design of next-generation products.
Comment from AILiveSim, our new business partner, on its collaboration with OTSL
2019.07.18AILiveSim Oy, Finland, is a finish start-up that leverages gaming technology and machine learning to create a new generation of simulation dedicated solely to autonomous vehicles. AILiveSim supports a variety of applications, domains and use cases, like creating data sets, training algorithms, automated tests or technical sales support demos to just name a few. The platform is easy to access making it ideal for development teams as well as non-technical team, allowing to rapid iteration from prototyping to market validation. Based on the high performance and high scalability of the Unreal™ engine, its core engine delivers high quality procedural scenes for all types of environment and contexts. It runs on PC or on multiple nodes in the cloud, adapting to the complexity of your projects. The parametric environments, scenes and objects created by the highly skilled AILiveSim team of artists, is growing rapidly, fueled by the depth of Unreal™ community that offers a massive amount of content, features and tips. Customers are then able to edit their scenes and scenarios with a built editor, to rapidly optimize their tests and data set creation. Out of the box, AILiveSim offers a library of sensors that high highly configurable, so you can
OTSL Strengthens Its 3D Real-Time Sensor Simulator Framework COSMOsim® Ecosystem for Autonomous Driving
2019.07.12– Establishes Partnerships with Three Companies Providing Advanced Autonomous Driving Technologies – OTSL Inc., a short-distance wireless system and embedded system developer and distributor, announced on July 12 that it has established partnerships with three companies providing advanced technologies related to electronic systems and autonomous driving: Germany’s COSEDA Technologies GmbH; U.S.-based VectorZero; and Finland’s AILiveSim. These partnerships will enable OTSL to strengthen the ecosystem for its 3D real-time sensor simulator framework COSMOsim®, which is aimed at autonomous driving. COSMOsim® is the only platform in the world that can simultaneously run five types of simulators — corresponding to millimeter wave radar, LIDAR, cameras, infrared light, and ultrasonic wave sensors — in real time on a single screen. As autonomous driving continues to move toward practical use around the world, there is increased demand for powerful simulation technologies that can virtually recreate diverse driving conditions to enable safe and accurate verifications. “Achieving completely autonomous driving requires moving beyond vehicle-mounted sensors and automotive systems such as Electronic Control Units (ECUs) and in-vehicle networks, and creating an environment in which the countless factors involved in automotive societies — roads, the surrounding environment, human engineering, and more — can be simulated with a high level
